Where our hunting began.

We are South African, and Africa is where our hunting journey began.

The legacy

A heritage rooted in the Eastern Cape.

We are South African, and both qualified Professional Hunters. This is where our hunting began — and where it still lives.

“If you've hunted in the Eastern Cape, there's a good chance you've crossed paths with my family's legacy — whether through hunting with someone connected to us, or on land where my family once professionally hunted and guided. It's a heritage that has shaped who I am, both personally and professionally.”
Jessica Hohne · Host — Lodge & Hospitality, Encinarejo Outfitters

“After school, I completed my Professional Hunter training in the Eastern Cape.” — Alex Hohne

Why Africa

These hunts are deeply personal.

The principles that define our operation today—ethical, fair-chase hunting, honest expectations, and attention to detail—were shaped there. When we offer Africa, we offer it properly, with the same standards our clients expect in Spain.

Where you'll hunt

Three regions, three landscapes.

We operate across three established hunting regions in South Africa, each offering a distinct landscape and hunting style.

Northern Cape

Classic open plains and wide horizons.

NamibiaBotswanaZimbabweMozambiqueLesotho Cape Town Johannesburg Durban Kimberley
Northern Cape · South Africa

Hunting in the semi-arid country around Kimberley offers a classic plains-game experience shaped by open grassland, scattered thornveld, and gently rolling terrain. Visibility is often excellent, allowing hunters to spend long periods glassing herds as they move naturally through the landscape. This is honest, walk-and-stalk hunting, where reading animal behaviour, wind, and subtle terrain features plays a far greater role than cover alone.

The pace is steady and engaging. Stalks are planned carefully, often involving long approaches and measured movement to close distance without being detected. Shots are typically taken from sticks at moderate ranges, demanding solid fundamentals rather than speed. The Kimberley area delivers a relaxed yet deeply traditional African hunting experience—ideal for hunters who value space, methodical hunting, and a true connection to the land over intensity or pressure.

  • Ideal terrain for bowhunting, with open country, predictable animal movement, and well-placed hides
  • Easy access via a ±1.5-hour flight from Johannesburg
  • High-quality lodging facilities, offering comfort without losing the authentic hunting atmosphere
  • More open landscapes supporting large, visible herds and classic spot-and-stalk hunting
  • Strong emphasis on plains game hunting, with excellent species variety and fair-chase conditions

Clean, honest African hunting in wide, semi-arid country—perfect for hunters who value space, visibility, and traditional plains-game experiences.

Eastern Capethe legacy region

Diverse terrain and excellent species variety.

NamibiaBotswanaZimbabweMozambiqueLesotho Cape Town Johannesburg Durban Gqeberha
Eastern Cape · South Africa

Hunting in the mountains of the Eastern Cape delivers a more rugged and varied plains-game experience, shaped by steep valleys, broken ridgelines, rocky outcrops, and pockets of dense cover. Visibility changes constantly as the terrain rises and falls, requiring hunters to glass carefully from high points and adapt quickly as animals move through folds in the land. This is classic mountain hunting, where elevation, wind, and angles play a central role in every decision.

The experience is more physical and tactical than open-country hunting. Stalks often involve long climbs, side-hilling, and careful positioning to gain a shooting opportunity without being seen. Shots can vary from close encounters in broken terrain to longer, technical opportunities across valleys, rewarding steady shooting and good judgment. The Eastern Cape offers a challenging yet immensely rewarding African hunt—perfect for those who enjoy terrain-driven strategy, effort, and the satisfaction of hard-earned success.

  • Diverse, mountainous terrain ideal for spot-and-stalk rifle hunting and challenging mountain-style pursuits
  • Easy access via domestic flights from Johannesburg or Cape Town
  • Luxury, well-appointed lodges positioned within the hunting areas for seamless days in the field
  • 120,000 hectares of free-range hunting
  • Excellent focus on plains game, with the added challenge of elevation, longer stalks, and technical shooting

A more physical and scenic African hunt, blending classic plains-game species with true mountain-style hunting in one of South Africa's most beautiful regions.

Limpopo

Bushveld hunting and traditional African safari country.

NamibiaBotswanaZimbabweMozambiqueLesotho Cape Town Johannesburg Durban Polokwane
Limpopo · South Africa

Hunting in the thick bushveld of Limpopo is an immersive and intimate African hunting experience, defined by dense vegetation, winding game paths, and limited visibility. This is close-country hunting where animals are often encountered at short distances, and success depends on reading fresh sign, understanding movement patterns, and using the wind to your advantage. The bushveld creates a sense of tension and anticipation, with every step holding the possibility of a sudden encounter.

The pace is slow, deliberate, and highly focused. Stalks unfold quietly along game trails and through thick cover, requiring patience, discipline, and constant awareness. Shots are typically close and decisive, placing emphasis on shot placement and calm execution rather than distance. Limpopo delivers a classic African bush hunt—intense, traditional, and deeply engaging—ideal for hunters who appreciate close-range hunting, tracking skills, and the raw feel of Africa at ground level.

  • Dense bushveld terrain offering classic close-range African hunting
  • Ideal for walk-and-stalk and tracking, with strong emphasis on wind and fresh sign
  • Easy access via international arrival into Johannesburg, followed by a short road transfer
  • Traditional safari lodges and camps, focused on comfort, atmosphere, and time in the field
  • Strong focus on plains game, with intense, low-visibility hunting and decisive shooting opportunities
  • Great bowhunting location with fantastic walk-and-stalk hunts as well as blinds

A true bushveld experience—immersive, personal, and rooted in the fundamentals of African hunting.

We keep this offering intentionally low-volume. Africa is not a mass-market add-on for us, but an extension of who we are and where we come from.

Accommodation ranges from comfortable safari lodges to more traditional hunting camps, always matched to the area and style of hunt.

Beyond the hunt

Wild Africa, and refined luxury.

Beyond the hunt, South Africa offers world-class travel that turns a great safari into an unforgettable journey. Spend a few days on a photographic safari in iconic wilderness areas such as Kruger National Park, where lions, elephants, and rhino replace rifles with cameras, then finish in Cape Town—one of the world's most beautiful cities. From Table Mountain and pristine beaches to exceptional wine farms, cuisine, and coastal scenery, it's the perfect balance of wild Africa and refined luxury, making South Africa ideal for hunters traveling with family or looking to extend their adventure.
